Apple executive Craig Federighi coined Apple Intelligence as "AI for the rest of us." Despite being heavily reliant on iPhone sales, Apple's new AI features may not yield immediate benefits, according to analysts. Analyst Paolo Pescatore praised Alphabet and Microsoft for their progress in the AI race. The latest AI enhancements, unveiled at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference, will be integrated into the upcoming operating system for Apple devices. Each year, Apple uses this event to showcase app updates, operating system enhancements, and new tools for developers. The revamped Siri will offer improved control and leverage ChatGPT and OpenAI services with an emphasis on user privacy. However, concerns over privacy arose following Apple's collaboration with the Microsoft-backed startup. Tesla CEO Elon Musk expressed intentions to ban Apple devices incorporating such technology at the OS level.
